Performance

I had a great time at the performance today...
Thanks to Linda for thinking of the hats a great addition...
Thanks to Kristen for the support and choreography and
Cathy you make a great CP and Nathan you make a great Santa...
I hope the audience had as much fun as we did...
I think we did a great job as a class I enjoyed the singing reminds me that even though we have so much to do Christmas is coming and we are going to have some relaxing time off!
Way to go everyone!

Practicing for the performance at Moose Hall

I just wanted to comment on how much fun it was practicing for the performance... I love that we can look so silly infront of each other and have so much fun!
Thanks to all the people who were kind enough to organize what would have been a gong show!
I think we all make a great team!!

I love this new little cafe that I found a few weeks ago!
It has amazing art in it!! It is for sale.. I find myself going there as much as I can and I feel like I always want to go there.
I could spend hours just looking at the art..

Plasticine Art

I taught my class plasticine art and it went really well. For one of my lessons the principal was in the room and she thought that the idea was amazing! Many of the teachers at my school are going to teach it to their classes at different times of the year. I have a power point presentation that I set up for my class when I was teaching the lesson it has step by step notes. If anyone would like it I would be happy to share!

Art Show

I felt that the art show was a great thing for the students who attended. I know that I picked some students who were great in art but who often do not excel in other areas. I thought that this was a great way to honor them. I like the fact that the show will be up for one month so that the people who could not make it on that particular night can go on another night with their family members.
As a class I feel we did a fantastic job!! Way to go team!

My sister is a wedding planner! This summer she planned 8 weddings. I help her with setting up wedding and decorations. Here are some pictures of weddings that I have helped her with.











This is the entrance table. These vases are so heavy but in the bottom of them there is some jelly. Making the jelly is so much fun.I realized that I love working with flowers through helping my sister.

Halloween

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone is thinking of creating some primary lessons for Halloween?
If anyone has some good websites please forward them to me.
I am just wondering about what people think? What are your thoughts on doing Halloween activities? My CT says she does incorporate all holidays in the classroom. My concern is that some people do not believe in Halloween. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions about how to deal with parents and questions about Halloween activities?
